Stepan Company is pleased to announce its first wipe registration, STEPAN® Towelette (EPA Reg. No. 1839-174), has been approved by the U.S. EPA as effective against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

In addition to being effective against SARS-CoV-2, this hospital disinfectant wipe is effective against the three core bacteria pseudomonas aeruginosa, staphylococcus aureus, and salmonella enterica for hospital disinfection, numerous antibiotic resistant-bacteria and a myriad of other viruses including Norovirus, Rhinovirus type 39, Rotavirus, HIV-1, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and Influenza A.

When used in accordance with label directions, this one-step germicidal cleaner, deodorant and disinfectant can be used in a variety of settings such as schools, food processing plants, office buildings, athletic/recreational facilities and in the home.
