Webinar: Flower-powered Conditioning: A Sustainable New Cationic

September 28, 2020

Join Stepan Personal Care in the upcoming UL Prospector webinar 7 a.m. (CST), Tuesday, October 6. Lucie Maisonneuve, Stepan's Consumer Products Business Development Manager - Europe, will present Stepan’s latest sustainable hair conditioning creation, STEPANQUAT® Soleil a novel hair conditioning quat that offers a better story for the consumer, the formulator and the environment.

With more consumers defining themselves as green, clean and conscious beauty buyers, our conditioning agent has been developed with their expectations in mind. STEPANQUAT Soleil is a European-sourced, GMO-free sunflower oil-based ingredient that does not contain any silicones, glycols, preservatives and drying alcohols. It also has a better environmental profile than the most commonly used hair conditioning agents, behentrimonium chloride (BTAC) and cetrimonium chloride (CETAC), and is readily biodegradable.

STEPANQUAT Soleil performs as well as or better than the market-leading conditioning agents, smoothing each individual hair strand for easy wet or dry combing, and providing great substantivity without build up.

This 100% active cationic in liquid form will delight formulators as it is easy, quicker and safer to use. With its formulation flexibility, formulators can explore all kinds of textures and product forms.

Stepan Personal Care’s latest novel hair conditioning agent also is featured in the August 2020 issue of Personal Care Magazine. Click here to read the article.
