Stepan's Portfolio of U.S. EPA-Approved Products Effective Against the Novel Coronavirus that Causes COVID-19

As health and safety organizations continue to closely monitor the respiratory disease caused by 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19), many have asked if Stepan has any U.S. EPA-approved registrations eligible for environmental infectious control of COVID-19 under the U.S. EPA's emerging viral pathogen guidance

Stepan does offer 20 U.S. EPA-registered end use formulations that meet the criteria for applications against emerging viral pathogens, and therefore may be considered for use as hard surface disinfectants against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19. Stepan expects additional approvals in May 2020.
