Stepan is constantly searching for new and emerging technologies that may require a foaming agent.  The growth of this product line is evidence of what can be accomplished when potentials are identified and Stepan's full expertise is brought to bear.

 

Concrete admixtures, fire fighting foamers, wetting and foaming agents for dust control, gypsum board foamers, latex frothing agents, and gas and oilfield drilling foams are just some of the applications for our alkylbenzene sulfonic acids, ether sulfates, emulsifiers, proprietary blends and developmental chemicals.

When necessary,  a new surfactant has been formulated to fit the application, or an existing product has been adapted into a untried application.
